Hoping someone here can help me with some info.
I have a Cold Steel SRK that I bought about 10 years ago (exact time unknown).
It is different from the models they sell today as it has a parkerized (some sort of oxide) finish instead of the epoxy and a cordura sheath instead of kydex.

Can anyone tell me if this is any more valuable than what they are selling today?
It is basically new, but I don't have the box.

Just curious. Thinking about selling it and hopeful that it might be desirable.

Thanks in advance!

being a mass produced knife i doubt it has any real collectors value.  But it is still one very solid knife that should serve you well.

Thanks Soda :-)
That's about what I figured.
Sometimes the old is worth more than the new, even with mass produced stuff like this.
I usually don't find out until after my old stuff is well used though

someone might dig the parked finish, but if you've seen the newer CS knives, their quality certainly hasn't gone down.  Still good steel, razor sharp and that new epoxy finish is supprisingly durable.

That is exacly what I needed to hear. I haven't seen any newer cold steel stuff.
Thanks again!
