+1 on the Cold Steel Kukri, good stuff.
I have the CS LTC and it has served me well.

If you are willing to put some work into it, Sarco has some imported ones that are cheap and strong.

They're trying to get up a group buy of genuine Nepal made kukris on the Guns Network boards.

Not really a Khukuri snob, but Himalayan Imports is probably one of the best out there.  Plus, you can dig up some info off of Bladeforums...Himalayan Import / Khurkuri Forums.

I have a 15" Ang Khola...and it's quite the blade!  I have both the the LTC and Gurka Kukri from Cold Steel, and that Gurka is quite the monstor as well.  I don't really like the handle, but the blade is pretty incredible for chopping.

+1 for Himalayan Imports.  Strong blades and hold up to a lot of abuse.

HI's stuff is probably the best on the market for Khukuri's.

Only problem I've had with them is that every time I buy one, it's so damn pretty I end up putting it in the sword stand.  So 3 Khuk, 2 swords later, I'm still looking for one for actual use.
