Yup, Armed INFIaholics are amongst the crowd. I only have a few Busse's myself 4 Steel Hearts-e -one paper micarta 1 ZT Steel Heart 1 CG Mofo 1 CG Mojo 1 Satin Jack -also paper micarta 1 Basic 7 1 TaliWhacker 1 Pauls Ratchet 1 PBF 8' 1 Stealth Hawk 1 Public Defender and a few more on order!

My favorite user is one of the Steel Heart E-handles. That knife was the first that caught my eye and the first that was to be subjected to a brutal beating. The knife was to serve as a test case for myself as to wether or not Busse was the real deal or more Knife magazine hype. (I think you'll agree that many knife making companies try to write their own reputation in ad copy or in B.S. reviews by magazines that accept thousands of dollars from the same people in ad dollars.) I decided that I would beat this knife till it broke and complain about how it let me down. I figured that it would be another "High performance" disappointment.....but it was not. Like a sick deviant with a pain fetish this knife was beaten badly and it kept laughing. I hacked trees, pressure treated lumber, stumps, firewood, garbage cans (both metal and plastic) soda cans sliced horizontally filled with every thing from sand, water and birdshot. I hammered it with a brick into a stack of quarters, left it stuck deep in the lawn overnight and repeated this again and again for weeks. The knife just smiled and after all that, the knife showed no damage, with the exception of finish being worn the knife was in perfect shape. That is how the collection was started. |

I think I'm gonna get emotional here... I know that is a lot along the lines of what got me into them past my first Mean Street apprentice. My straight-handled Steel Heart is still my favorite. it has taken a "few" beatings, and still has it man. C'mon all you black-gun people, only one person who mixes AR with INFI steel??? |
