I seen one on one of the NFA forums the other day for $5500 and it came with a bunch of extra stuff. I talked around and found out they go anywhere from $7500 - 10,000... now I can't find the ad and am interested in picking one up. Apparently there is a local guy that has one for $10,000... if I were willing to spend that much I might as well just buy a Barrett M82A1... anybody know of a source for a M2HB for less than say $6500? It might be time for an upgrade!

Atlantic sells them I thonk or maybe impact, anyway I saw them before and thought that it would be better than a 82.

Get the M2. More fun to play with anyway.

My buddy who is a gun dealer told me that he shot the M2HB semi auto that is for sale for $10.000... he said that it is easy to "feather" the trigger in a way that simulates F/A fire... I'm seriously considering getting one!

I found these ... while searching the internet. But was curious if there were other sources or if there was a cheaper way of going about it. I'm not "cheap" but I don't wanna pay thousands more than I need to, to get one of these! The one I saw for $5500 seemed reasonable, I guess I shoulda jumped while I could...

Hmmm, didn't know they were that cheap! I'd only seen them for $10,000 before. Be sure to get all the accessories too. Flash hider, tripod mount, t/a, cleaning kit, a-bag,head-space gauges, manual, etc....
Loved mine like a child...

I want one to park in the living room. Coffee table? NOPE. M2!!!

I know, right!?

I just joined 1919A4 forums so I could learn about the semi auto guns... and I found the M2 ad that I saw on Strumgewehr a while back that started all this.... wish I could find a $5400 M2/M3HB today though...

I'll just get my money straight and keep watching the forums...

I made a cheap crank for mine 1/4" rod, bent. Piece of UHMW plastic cut to make a gear. Two nuts that I tapped/threaded to the grip. I can take it off/on with a allen wrench in 30 seconds.

Gets expensive

rod/gear setup

the nut tapped/threaded on the spade grip

you can see how it pushes the trigger when turned

build it yourself, you learn so much by doing it.

I built mine with a muffler gun, dremmel, air sander wheel, and a BFH. I just gun coated the frame. I bought the parts milled already.

If you put a WTB on the m2hb board you will find a set already milled ready to slap together.

I'm tempted to build one, to save myself 2 G's... I'm pretty mechanically inclined and have a buddy who has everything I need to put it together... I just may do that, thanks for the advice!

I joined 1919A4.com and M2HB.net a few days ago to learn more but the mods over there haven't "approved" me yet...

Check your spam folder. I found my approval in there.

If you're interested in an M2/M3, just get one from Ed at CWA.  Don't mess around with TNW or AA, and I'd stay away from building one unless you're a fairly competent gunsmith.

I built mine.  It was as easy as building my 1919's!  My kit came from Gryphos.

Gryphos is the cheapest, just buy a kit, the KMP side plate/sear/trigger and pay somebody like mcguire to assemble it. IIRC they can be built for under $5k

I love mine, VERY accurate. Remember, carlos hathcock used one for his longest kills a record that lasted from 67 to 02....

I can hit spray cans easily with mine at 100 using a walmart red dot.

I actually make a good deal of cash off it at the range. I charge $5 a shot, this guy droped $60 total that day.
