| First off let me introduce my self. My name is Jarod, I am new to the world of the 50. I am a machinist and work at a very cool shop where we can do any off the clock projects we want. 2 of my bosses are avid gun builders and i have gotten a lot of great advice from them about this build. what i am wondering is this, what is a safe barrel contour to turn my barrel down to. Its a K&P barrel blank that will be 34" long when turned. I am wanting a light weigh contour so it can be shoulder fired if needed. it is being designed around the Maadi Griffen style. so it will be a bull-pup single shot shell holder style bolt. thanks guys for your help. |
