I'm still new to the 50 cal game.  I've got a AR-50 and just bought some American Eagle 660 gr ammo.

I've heard or read somewhere that 50bmg ammo, intended for machine guns, has varing powder charges to allow for a wider field of fire.  I'm assuming that match grade 50 ammo isn't like that, but what about the others.  Is the American Eagle 660 LC ammo like this?

I'm sure the American Eagle ammo is more consistent than linked surplus ammo. Hornady will also have 50 bmg ammo on the market hopefully soon. If it's anything like the rest of their product line, it will be top notch stuff.
