| I am looking for 1000-2000 projectiles and have a difficult time finding them. I have looked at the common spots and they are all out. Anybody has any useful sources without getting raped? thanks. |

Depends what you want. I'm guessing your are meaning milsurp projos like M2AP, M33 Ball, Tracer, API, etc, etc.
www.polygunbag.com has top quality stuff www.patsreloading.com has stuff in bigger quantity...usually has more pull marks than the polygunbag stuff. www.wideners.com has a few things at times, including PMP Ball and M2AP. -David Edgewood, NM |

Try here... these M33 were nice and the price is still right. The shipping is super fast too... no waiting for weeks like Pat's.

Ya, Hi-tech ammo seem to be hit and miss about 1.5 yrs ago. And has steadily gotten worse over time. Seems that their list of things in stock has gotten shorter and shorter. Dont know how they can stay in business the way things are going. And for me it is a shame. They are about a hours drive from my house and even shorter like 15 minutes if I go after work, which is great. I dont have to pay hazmat for my powder or primers, if they have them in stock.
But also be aware, I know that sometimes they will get something in and not update the website for a few days. I wouldn't call everyday, but I might call and build a repor with them. Then during one of your calls, they might be able to give you a heads up on a shipment that is inbound. Max |

Try some of the places above, they are available. There were lots for sale at Knob Creek. In fact, 50 BMG ammo was the only available and reasonably priced ammo there. I don't know about reasonably priced, but there were some ok deals at today's market. I picked up 60 rounds of original linked AP for $185. The lowest I saw was $2.85/round with IVI brass (reman) in 150 quantity. But there were also the predators out there with $6-7@ rounds of noname reman. I did see a few .50 uppers and complete guns. Just wished I'd had the scratch to pick one up :) |

Just wished I'd had the scratch to pick one up :) We found some really nice ball in LC07 brass for $350 per box of 150 or $2.33/round. It was demilled and reloaded by a company from Washington state. I don't remember their name, he was set up along the road behind the gun shop/office building. It was a pain to carry two boxes back to the Jeep, lucky I had some young guys with me.
There was a guy in the big building with lots of projos for a reasonable price, I bought some from him a couple of years ago. No deals on powder, primers or brass at all. |
