Hello picked up some yellow tip ammo for a good price thought that this was the dominican ammo. Bought for componets only as I heard that it was loaded to hot any body know if this ammo is reloadable. Was the primer corrosive?
Thank you Justin |

Dominican yellow tip ammo is corrosive has brittle brass and oversize projectiles with some projectiles you can shake them and hear them rattle.
It also has a wide variance in powder charges from very light load up to VERY HOT loads in the same batch. It is banned in FCSA matches. Ed |

I just pulled a bullet(the core didn't look tight in the jacket BTW) from one, and dumped the powder to use the primer to test my new heavy hammer trigger. The primer is def Berdan. So I'd say these are worthless for anything other than what I used it for.
The Jard worked great, I highly recommend them due to the low trigger pull weight. I got it from primalrights.com with free shipping! |
