| Anybody have an ultralite 50 upper for an ar,im thinking of buying one and wondering if anyone has shot one. Thanks for your time. |
| I have the 24" barrel ul50. I have fired 6-700 rounds through mine and love it. It probably wouldn't matter what fifty I was shooting I would still have a smile on my face. I have hade good luck with mine. It shoots well and is pretty accurate. It is not one of the expensive fancy brands but for the money I believe it is a good firearm. |

I have an 18" model chambered for .50spotter (M48) This was before the availability of .50DTC for the CA market. UltraLite50 Range Report |
The 2 lathe turned bullets in one of your pics, who makes them? |

First make sure the bolt is closed. Remove the rear pin so the action can atleast hinge open. I always remove the complete upper. It makes the gun easier to handle. Once removed open the bolt part way and unscrew the bolt handle. Once the handle is removed there will be 3 parts. Separate the bolt and the carrier. The firing pin has a guide in the carrier that it will be resting in. The carrier will slide out the rear and the bolt head will slide out the side. It is fairly self explanitory once the bolt handle is removed. |
Yup, like that. If you get more inquisitive and decide to take the bolt head apart, watch that you don't lose the little detent ball and spring. When you take the collar off of the bolt head, it WILL fly to anywhere you cannot see it! |
