The bill stalled last year and went nowhere, as I recall a newsletter from Burtt. I would check the FCI site often if you are in NJ, we could see that bill come back this summer or they may hold off until the elections are over. In either case you can still get a 50 in NJ now (I just shipped a few there) but who knows when that will change. Dave Ferret50 |

There's 22 new bills that were proposed at the start of this year wanting to somehow further restrict guns, one being making .50cal's a destructive device and since all destructive devices are illegal here (except automatic weapons with a court order) they would be banned.
