Anyone have a good or favorite loading manual/CD for the .50? I haven't purchased a manual in years (pre software availability, now that's dating myself). I've got one or more from virtually every major component/powder manufacturer but the reality is that many of todays loads weren't in print when these manuals were. Thanks for any recommendations.

What are you looking for, specifically?

That's just it, nothing specifically. Simply a variety of loads. I guess right now I wouldn't mind seeing what people are doing with the 690 grain South African stuff as a plinking round. I would also like see different loads using 5010 as there is quite a bit of this surplus powder for a little bit of nothing relatively speaking. I would like to see load data on both Barnes and Hornaday's bullets. I just like reference material at hand.

Ok, well I really don't want to tell you this, but you should probably join FCSA.  I am sure that they have a ton of load info that will be very valuable to you.  (Bring some back if you get the chance )  Just kidding.....ok I am not.

I am not a member and probably never will be.  I have been able to find 95% of what I need by searching the net, but I bet that the money that you would be willing to spend on a manual or a DVD would be better off going towards the FCSA membership.  If I were in need of such info, I would join up myself.  $40 isn't really anything these days.....am I talking myself into joining??......

I personally don't know of any book or DVD that is specifically geared to the BMG, other than Build Your Own type things.

Good luck to you.

Already an FSCA member. I bought a years membership and Armalite paid for a years membership with the purchase of an AR50. This seems to be a fairly well kept secret but they include it in their package though I had to call them on it. There are several other manufacturers that also give you a years membership over there for purchasing their product. They have a great deal of good info. I just like to have it at my finger tips instead of always doing a Goggle search.
