I went through my order from Pat's Reloading. Good looking ammo and great service BTW. Anyway most of my API is loaded in TW/43 brass. I know the primer is new & NC but are there any problems with "old" brass? I have read that with age brass can become brittle. Will this WWII brass be OK to reload? The brass is clean with no dents or corrosion & still has the anealing stain at the shoulder. Hive opinion?

I have some Talon brass that is DM 45.  It has been great to me.  I just ordered some of Patsreloading API rounds as well.  I hope they are just as good.

What price did you pay BTW?

wouldn't anieling fix the brittleness? or is that just to fix the mouth of the brass when shot too much?

I ordered mine a few months ago and received it 3 weeks ago. I paid $1.79/rnd plus Ship.& HM. In the end it worked out to $2.08/rnd.

I've reloaded plenty of WWII stuff, the brass is good. If you want to anneal it you can but this is only done to the neck area. If the rest of the case is brittle you might as well throw it away.
