i am looking at the barrett m99 and i am in between the 29 inch barrel and the 32 inch barrel..... what are the pros and cons??? sorry about the noob question...thanks...

Not a whole heck of a lot of difference. You will lose about 40fps per inch of barrel length.

Get the longer barrel - free extra feet per second and foot pounds of energy.
Kind of like loading free extra powder without the extra pressure.
