Well it's now on order. Kinda like waiting for the birth of a child. Nine months of wait. Plently of time to start rounding up ammo, and optics Ordered an 18in barrel, was warned about the concussion, but if I wanted the sting of 30-06 I'd shoot 30-06

Unless Darran has miraculously increased his ability to crank these out (I doubt he has with his one-man shop), go ahead and add an extra 5-months onto your original intended wait.

Don't ask me how I know.

Holy shit 9 month wait time?  I was planning on going with this upper, now I might have to rethink it.

Nine months to a year wait... but like all things. The best things come to those who wait

I got my ALS50 in May.  Took 9 months to get, but I held out and like it a lot.  I shot in the FCSA Reno shoot a couple weeks ago, rifle is a dandy!

Got mine in less than 2 weeks :)

Called him up, asked him if he had anything laying around that somebody had backed out of.   Wound up having an upper in the configuration I wanted with the only difference being that it was painted in silver(not sure why the original person ordering it wanted silver).

150 more for silver paint as opposed to waiting 6+ months for my upper?   For a milspec chamber it shot well too, .47 inch 3 shot test group when it was shipped.

That must have been a while ago. When I ordered mine back in April, I asked the same thing. He said he goes down the line first, and I never got a call.

I've had my upper for almost 1 1/2 years now.
