| I have recently started looking at getting a .50 and kinda like the Serbu. I am looking in the $1500 to $2500 range. Is the Serbu a good rifle or do you have other suggestions? Thanks for the info in advance. |

Sebru is a very good rifle. At the high end of the range you can also get an AR-50, which is what I got. It is very accurate and has less recoil than many of the others. But it is very heavy and large. It would be at the higher end of your budget. It is great for bench shooting and longggggg distances. Just remember to budget for scope, ammo, case and other stuff you will need. I have heard that the Barrets and Ferrets are also very fine weapons. |

Just got off the phone with David of Spider Firearms Ferret50 today and placed my order for my Ferret50 36" SS Upper Assembly. Will have a different Lower and Stock than the one shown below. Currently in the middle of a production run so, mine should be ready in February. Plenty of time to stock-up on ammo.
