Other than Ammoman, where do you guys buy your 50 cal? Both surplus and match. Is surplus (70's, or fresher) for practice, really that bad? I have a can of Talon coming from Ammoman, but also saw some nicely priced Lake City and didn't know if it was that bad. Last time at the gun store the guy behind the counter made me feel like I should be charged with "rifle abuse" for even thinking about surplus in my Barrett. He did offer me some $4 a round match ammo that was "perfect" for it

Balming no API allowed in this eastern bloc country called Kalifornia. Do you have ball ammo? How about a website for Summit Ammo? My official purchase is coming from Ammoman, always nice to have a couple backups.

I've sure been happy with the quality of ammo I bought from Watsons Weapons (see link above). If you can make it out to Knob Creek this April, there'll be plenty to choose from!
