[ARCHIVED THREAD] - FNH SC 1?

I shoot clay sports, mostly skeet and sporting clays. I currently use a Ruger Red Label with 28" bbls.

Today I saw a beautiful o/u.. FNH SC 1. 30" ported bbls, extended chokes. But, I don't know anything about it.

They are asking $2279. Is it worth it? Would you trade the Red Label in on it? How much should I expect to get for the Red Label, or rather, how much should I tell them I need for the red label to make the deal?

The FNH has been on the shelf for MONTHS. I just finally today gave myself permission to ask about it. LOL

I have been shooting ATA with mine for about 8 months now (I got one of the first SC1s). I absolutely love it. It balances well, handles well, and shoots very well. It replaced a Beretta 682 gold e if that tells you anything.

I just got a couple in, and wow they are nice. I think I'm keeping one... can't wait to get out to the range and try it out.

Any thoughts on the black vs. blue? The blue is stunning but I think the black may be more my style.
