I'm getting ready to take the plunge on a PS90 TR. hopefully this week. The end goal is to SBR it and add a can.
I'd like a bit of input on magazines, ammo(which types to buy and where), optics, accessories, etc. Thanks in advance for the feedback. |

For a can gemtech sells a g5 mount that looks like the stock p90 flash hider. The g5 suppressor can then be used on an ar-15 as well. Past that you can get an adapter to use pretty much any ar flash hider. Pretty much really gives you a bunch of options.
For mine I ordered an adapter from cmmg to convert the 30 round mag to a 50. I can't remember where I got my spare mags from. I haven't really used my tri rail much. Been too lazy to convert it to an sbr(and I have the gemtech flash hider already). |

CDNN for magazines. Make sure they are FN ones (these are - http://www.cdnninvestments.com/fnp90550drne.html). Ammo. Basically there's only SS197SR 40 rain V-Max from FN (you might find some SS195LF floating around) or whatever Elite Ammunition has in stock. I've found the cheapest SS197SR at Sportsmans Guide (club price, but it's out of stck) but I haven't bought any in two years (looks like Cheaper than Dirt might be cheaper, but I don't know about shipping - ouch! $13 on a $16 box of 50! plus they are out). |

Optics. I ass-u-me you bought a railed model? The Aimpoint T-1 on the LaRue LT611 mount is an excellent choice. That's what I arrived at after using several other optics.  I didn't buy a CMMG barrel. I had a absolutely horrible experience trying to order one and their CS was as bad. Your mileage may vary. As I've described other threads, while my Form 1 was processing, I found a barrel in the EE (guy had chopped it short of the pin in the sleeve) and sent it to Hi-Desert Dog to be cut down and threaded and I bought his ½ x 28 threaded OD muzzle adapter (the part that replaces the sleeve in holding the barrel). After I got my Form 1 back I sent my reciever to Henderson Defense to (1) drill out the pin, (2) engrave the reciever and (3) loosen the barrel retaining nut at the chamber end. When I got the reciever back I swapped out the barrel and installed a Gemtech G-5 M16 / AR15 bi-lock flash hider so I could use my G-5 suppressor (I deliberately chose that instead of the Gemtech "P90" bi-lock). So I can return it to a Title 1 firearm by replacing the barrel and sleeve. |

I also found the Urban ERT sling wasn't for me. The "SG-1" type sling requires a vest or a shoulder harness. Right now I don't have a sling. The SBR'd PS90 cries out for decent sling attachment points. I'd like to use a V-TAC sling (they are FAR superior to single point slings). Maybe that will be my next project. |
