I just picked up an FS2000 used for a great price.  I love this rifle and am looking forward to putting a few accessories on it.

I currently have replaced the BUIS on it with Magpul MBUS and they are working out much better than the crappy factory sights.   I am eventually going to get an optic for it, maybe an EoTech.

Any accessories you recommend for the rifle?  I see that the Tri-Rail for the FS2000 never came through, so that is disappointing..   Is there anyway to mount a tactical light on here without having to cut a hole in the foregrip?   Has anyone tried mounting a flashlight off the top rail using a 90 degree elbow rail or anything?

Thanks,

Dan

What was the 'great price'? Remember FN dealers need to move FS2000 and PS90 rifles to 'get' SCAR-H's in black (the ones we all want).

And, you should know the rules...pics or it didn't happen!

check the fs2000 p90 pic thread, i think Judochop has a light mounted off the top rail

cutting a hole in the handguard is pretty easy with the right tools, and a replacement handguard is $10

I really like mine.

I have an EO TECH on mine, I just mounted it and it was zero'd out of the box.  I was kind of surprised.

I would look forward to a foregrip for this.  I think that would be the ticket.  Supposedly FN is coming out with one as well as Magpul.

One addition I really like on my FS is the Sling from Urban ERT.  It's burly, offers several different carry configurations and over all is just awesome.  Tuck it behind your back and clip it to your belt, configure it as a two point or single point.

THIS THIS THIS!!! This sling is fantastic, very well made,  easily convertible from double to single point, and excellent customer service to boot. Cant recommend Urban ert more highly as your first real 'upgrade' on your fs2k.

That looks nice HK_SD9_Tactical. Is that the tri rail from FN? Where did you get it or did it come on your rifle? Been waiting on one of these for 2 years.

What do these Tri-Railed weapons cost NIB?

I need to know if my local fun shop is giving me the deal I should get...

The Tri Rail is aftermarket. I ordered it in Feb and it finally arrived. It is not sold by FN but through one of their distributors. Mine came from a shop in Glenn Burnie, MD. $190 shipped. Barts Gun Shop. They are on backorder again and no idea of when they will get more.

You can not buy a Tri Rail FS2K.  You have to put it together yourself AFAIK. There is a FS2K Tri Rail for sale on a gun auction site.

IMO that weapon has never looked better then in the 'tri-rail' set up.

I'm actually considering one now.

Looks like a plastic muzzle cap, not a new flash hider.

Check the old EE for the thread.

I'm picking it up today.  The deal is done.

If I'm smart enough and can figure it out, I will post up some pix.

Cheers,

Why that FNH Tri-Rail is not being produce in higher numbers is beyond me.

It's perfect and IMHO a necessity for a bullpup to have a VFG on it.

Damn Monolith was bought out by Magpul and Magpul has decided for whatever reason to not carry on with their tri-rail.

Congrats to the OP though. It's a fine weapon. Ideal for close quarter home defense.

+1 on going with after market BUIS.

+1000 on going with an Urban ERT Sling. That guy knows his bullpup slings.

Whoa, way to restart my wanting of the F2000. :( Especially with the tri-rail pic, you could put a vert grip on that and everything. :(

wow that tri-rail is smokin hot... For those who have the regular foregrip right now, be aware that the grip comes pre scored for a weapon light installation, its a super easy install and it is cut to accept the 6p/nitro size surefire/fenix etc. its a very easy install and even if you make a mistake a replacement is only a few dollars.

Y'know, the tri-rail coupled with Magpul's new angled foregrip would probably make the ergos of the front just about perfect.  Hmm.

the tri-rail has been released, it's out in the market place as we write this.  One's on mine.
