Does the FS200 have a plastic trigger group like the PS90?

Hammer, trigger and sear.  The fire control group is all plastic/synthetic.

Basically I'm just sculpting it from aluminum bar stock.

But looking at sand casting as a faster, cheaper alternative.

It is not plastic - it is "SPACE AGE POLYMER".

Make sure you use "AIRCRAFT QUALITY" aluminum for your castings.
