I handled one when P icked mine up earlier this week and the reticle looks exactly like what you posted Pretty narrow FOV IMO, I like my Eotech better |
Wait, am I misunderstanding, or are you guys saying the barrel on the FS2000 Standard is the normal length instead of that elongated thing on the original? If so, hot damn... |
No....the FS2000 standard has the stupid long ass schlong of a barrel. ![]() ![]() -Ben |
Actually I'm more pissed about FN chosing an odd barrel size and still not bring the OAL to 30". Why 17.4"? Why not 16" if they aren't bothering with a 30" OAL? Personally, I feel that a 18" barrel will give you more velocity AND bring the rifle to over 30" OAL. Many AR15 setups use a 18" barrel, so why not have one on the FS2000? 17.4" just doesn't make sense as it is still too short to meet 30" OAL but it is longer than 16". A 16" barrel would be the shortest legal barrel length before it becomes a SBR, but the OAL would still be around 27"-28" OAL, slightly longer than the min. legal OAL. (The 30" OAL is needed for a few states, and changes the classification of the FS2000 to a rifle in at least 1 state.) The reticle appears to be etched. I have no idea if tritium is used. |
Move out of Michigan then. They shoudn't have made the original design unavailable to the rest of us when it was legal in the first place (permanent flash hider, or .5" extra barrel, not 2" extra barrel) ![]() -Ben |
+1 I thought I was missing out but it is like looking through a straw. |
I agree. I never understood why they went with a 17" barrel either. Hopefully they have fixed the charging handle defect by now. |
