Have been having problems with rounds not feeding well in 4 different PS90 mags. The 30rder that came with her and 3 other new 50rd mags. All mags have had over 500rds thru them. Have stripped the mags, cleaned the rollers and washed out the mag bodies with water as per the manual. The mags still hang occassionally not feeding the next round forward. Any ideas? |

Yes mags are assembled correctly. All factory new ammo... no reloads. Feedlips are not damaged. What appears to be happening is the following. Top round is stripped from mag, next round doesn't rotate into position or starts to rotate and stops. A light tap on the mag causes the round to rotate into position. This was determined with a loaded mag not attached to my PS90. |

I think I know what your problem is. I had the small black piece in the magazine in backwards. YOu know, the one that is angled and handles the placement of round 1 and 2. if this is upside down it doesn't push correctly on the last fiew rounds...it will cause a bad feed. When the angle is correct there is enough force for the last few rounds. If that is not it...... You might be missing one or more of the little tubular black dummy rounds Check the quantity to see if you got a bad mag or somehow somebody screwing with the mag at the dealer didn't lose a piece. Otherwise....would it be possible you got the wrong spring? Perhaps you have a 10 round mag spring with 50 round mag parts? |
I had the same problem with a 50rd mag. Turns out the problem was a weak mag spring. FNH USA replaced it. Give Bob Ailes a call. |
