Is the top optics rail straight with relation to the receiver and barrel? I know the entire assembly bolts to the side-rail holes on the receiver, but I would like to know if the optics rail is canted or perfectly straight and level.

Does it vibrate enough during firing to wear away at the receiver due to how it is attached?

In my limited shooting with the Halo, it did not cause any finish wear.
And it seems to be straight in the reciever channel.

No reciever wear at all on mine.
