| Anybody see any reason why a Shrike upper wont work with an RLL if the carrier is milled to the right specs? Other than taking away resale value. Would the rate of fire put to much stress on teh RLL i got the enforcer for it so it shouldnt be too bad. TIA |
Thats what i was thinking to but ive never seen a shrike up close to see if it could work. Im not about to drop the money on one too and dint out it doesnt either. |

I swapped e-mails about this and I got a repy back from Ares that it would be possible but you would need to modify the carrier. I never spent the money on the Shrike upper so take that for what it is worth... an untested theory. I did a search and I don't have the e-mail anymore but I see no reason that you could not get this to work. Now, I am not sure how easy it would be to get your paddle in there to assemble the gun but even that should be about like any other upper. |
Hey, we all disagree somewhere along the way.. search my posts and I am sure I posed something you can disagree with in the past few days. It's part of the fun at ARFCOM EDIT TO ADD: Note that the Shrike was originally sold as a CLOSED BOLT and that is the version that will work with a LL! The OPEN BOLT version will not work with the LL but then again that will not work with a DIAS either! |
