Has anyone perfected Quarterbores AR15 parts mod using standard AR parts to make a select fire kit by moding the selector & disconnector? I have a RLL and would like a dropin fit in several lowers instead of using M16 FCG parts like Scott Bells kit and I think M60Joe uses M16 as well. Thanks for the info, FH |
The select-fire kit Scott Bell claims to have invented does use modified M16A2 trigger parts; however, if done correctly, the kit does not allow full auto without a link in place. Quarterbore's site has some good pictures showing what needs to be done to an M16A2 trigger group to function select-fire with an RLL. Making your own kit is what the real inventor intended with his idea. I'm not aware of anyone who's perfected Quarterbore's alternative select-fire kit. Quarterbore would be the one to ask. Karl |
