Not that a lot of you guys care or want to hear about it, but I shot my Shrike today. I did my "break in" period" last month, and had a few hiccups, mostly related to the fact that I'm new to belt feds and had to learns some of the basics (i.e. lube the links a bit). But ran out to my uncles property today for an hour with just a few belts (he doesn't have a ton of property and a lot of close neighbors, so I shot mostly .22 stuff) and they all ran through without a hiccup. The ammo was a mix of Federal, quatamalan surplus, adco and even a bunch of light primer hits from my last range trip. I was using the 16" barrel with a AAC M42000 so as not to piss everyone in the county off. Unfortunately, I went alone so no pics and no video. Also explains why it was a short range trip...shooting alone gets old. For whats it worth fellas...

Do you have any pic of it not shooting? With the M4-2000?
Congrats! When did you get your money in? And when did it arrive?
Thanks

hotness

I paid an insane amount and got it second hand.  Worth every penny.  I love it.  Especially with the 12.5" barrel.  Sorry for those hoping some were shipping out...

Great!!!!!

Doesn't matter what you paid for it - you wanted it and had the money ....

Lifes too short and I'm afraid the only way many are going to get one is buying it off of a previous owner .... including those that have orders in .....

My only worry would be spare parts .....

Also, did you have to make any changes in the lower that makes upper changes harder?

With my LM7, I have to change the recoil buffer ....

The BRP XMG-34 is even more complicated -  replace stock ..... hard on lower buffer-threads .....

Oh, you DID see a commodore 64 box.  I just moved into this house, its the house I grew up in, I bought it from my parents.  When I moved my gun stuff in the basement, I just shoved everything to one side and organized my gun stuff first.  Thats why its sooooo messy.  But I hated the handgaurd too, so with a few hours at a mill I got a rail on the bottom....

You have to use their buffer Spring, a lot longer and stiffer than a factory one.  And there's a little spacer that goes in the back of the buffer tube.  You change out the bolt hold catch.  Doesn't have the release button on the top of it, so to realease the bolt you have to pull and realease the charging handle.  Thats the hardest thing to change...mainly because I am so careful to not scratch my receiver.
