WOW! Someone who actually owns an Armstech! Can you tell us some more about the type of velocities you get from that barrel? If i'm not mistaken, Armstech claimed that their stubbies chrono like 14.5" inchers. |

The 9.5" heavy barrel is stainless match grade with polygonal gain twist rifling! The Vortex flashhider takes a proprietary Armstech suppressor... KOOL thing is... that it's plug & play; snaps right on with an absolutely perfect fit. Bolt/carrier stays pretty clean w/o the complications of a spring loaded piston/op rod. Totally reliable w/o screwing around with weighted buffers, enlarged gas ports or extractor D rings. ROF is about 650rpm; runs like a sewing machine! I can get serious fragmentation on POT ROAST with 55gr ball at 50m, so velocity is quite adequate for CQB! I'll try to get my hands on a chrony & post the results... |

First shorty I ever built.....was a host for a Broadhead DIAS. Old Gunsmoke Ent. 7.5" upper, real m231 buffer tube assy, and a JP brake for total controllability and massive fireball!!!!!! Holo site, hot-dot laser, and there was a light on the other side....  my tastes have become much more conservative since then!

Bigbore, What are the specs on that????? You got my wheels turning now!!! Also, what is the overall length of that PRI tube? I was thinking about a 7.5" barrel with a Krink FH and was wondering where that tube would come on the barrel/Krink. 11.5" upper with a 12" Samson rail cut down to 11.25" to work with my barrel. Cut down was by Scott Samson.  10.5" upper cut down by Steve/Adco. Great work for sure!!!!!

Just completed it and got it sighted in. Currently on an older FA R/R lower but I have a SBR Colt lower I will use for work. I stayed with the FSB and I am really pleased with this type setup. Groups great out to 100 yards and is very handy a closer ranges.
