Stamps just came back for my JMB SW76 (Stemple tube based clone of the S&W 76) and the silencer that goes with it. Hopefully picking it up tomorrow from the FFL (kitchen table guy with flexible hours). Had it drilled and tapped for a rail I got from BRP while I was waiting. I know those were training rounds but seeing them made me think of the live rounds in the polymer cases. I tested those and they weren't reliable in my 53. Figured the .308 would be similar to the .223. They fired but the backpressure seemed to deform the case to the point that it caused problems with extraction and feeding of subsequent rounds. I had tested them a few years back so it's possible that the case designs have improved. Didn't mean to clog up the MG image thread - feel free to delete. |

 Transferable ER Maples M2HB the day the stamp cleared. It was an intrastate private sale, individual to individual. This is the last NFA firearm I transferred as a SOT. I knew its history well. The internals, ammo, spare barrels, and linker were given to me earlier to help with storage. |
