I'm  waiting game on my MP5A2 to arrive.  What are some must have accessories?
3/12/2016 4:23:24 PM EDT
[#1]
Extractor spring & lots of ammo.
A3 stock or B&T folding stock.
3/12/2016 4:56:38 PM EDT
[#2]
3-lug suppressor and subsonic ammo

Have considered an A3 stock.  Ammo isn't an issue.  Gun has a 3 lug barrel, it's a factory MG.

Definitely a 3-lug can.
Surefire 628 or M63 rail + light.

Aimpoint Micro on B&T 10266 low mount.

Navy trigger group

LuLa loader
3 pt sling
Aimpoint low mount with rds
You will probably get the B&T 3lug silencer
I prefer Navy trigger group
Surefire (OR KAC) rail
Caveman discreet case

Nice.  I use a similar case for my SBR.  My mp5 has the sure fire forearm and a navy pack with burst and FA.

Im going to disagree on the LULA.

You need the B&T loader that RTG Parts has.

It is amazing and I love it.

And I will echo the wisdom of having spare extractor springs. I would keep  a spare extractor too (Ive broken one).

Yeah if your ammo is in boxes that works great.

LuLa is better than HK loader or Beta loader for loose ammo, IMO.

Good point. Ive been getting my ammo loose and loading it into trays to use the loader. We do rentals some times and the reduced loading time is a big deal for us. The loader doesn't really help with loose ammo though, you are right.

Skip the Surefire 628/M63 and get the Steiner lighted forend, then swap the light head out with a TnP LU60 adapter and a surefire 6P head LED.

The Steiner lets you use the 3 lug can without interference. The new Steiner LED may be o.k., but if you buy surplus, do the 6P head swap. The old Steiner xenon bulb is weak/old tech.

The Steiner (well, mine is ITS Armatech) is a sturdy foregrip that fits perfect, and is Norwegian Mil-surp.

These guns are so cool! Sold this one years ago. Wish I had it back. With 147gr subsonic loads, it sounded like a pellet gun.

Nice.  Hard to believe they've escalated so high in price.

Genuine HK magazine loader and unloader is a must for the HK collector.

I have spare bolt carriers and bolts, extractor springs, firing pin spring, firing pin, other small parts. Extra magazines.

My Dakota Tactical D54P MP5 clone with registered sear, B&T folding stock, MPI optic mount, Aimpoint ACO, wide foregrip:

We have a S&H sear rigged to a bobcat, works great with the correct mags.

We have a S&H sear in a navy pack,  rigged to a bobcat and works great with the correct mags.  We had to buy the correct bolt/carrier but it was plug and play for the most part.

I'm not sure what's wrong with mine, but it doesn't fit over the top of either my Zenith mags or my Korean mags.  It get's stuck before it bottoms out.  Is it defective or am I doing something wrong?  I felt like taking a Dremel to it, but I didn't want to screw it up if it's not screwed up.
