Parts for full-auto collectible weapons, such as the Thompson or the BAR, are getting really expensive (following the astronomical rise in the guns themselves).

I discovered that certain parts of these weapons are the same as those for ordinary weapons, potentailly saving owners a lot of money. For example, milled sling swivels for Thompsons are the same as for M1903 Springfields, except that the screws for them are screws for M1917 Enfields. Buttplate screws for both Thompsons and BARs are Enfield buttplate screws, and the early (M1918) BARs used Enfield buttplates and rear sight slides.

Anybody know of other examples?
