Owning an SWD M-11 machine gun for the past few years, i've been able to aquire several accessories but always wondered if there were any factory magazines out there other than the 30 round metal/zytel?

Thanks!

you can weld up a drum mag, using a suomi drum w/ a PAM2 mag

The line in the middle of the zytel mag is meant to hold the floor plate when the mag is shortened.  Does that count?

I had a semi pistol that came with a zytel 15rd mag, I believe. My M11/9 SMG is Sten converted so all I have for it are 32rd mags and a 57rd that I made.

Jerry at Recon Ordnance offers extended metal mags now I believe (58 rounds ?). I think US Machinegun might offer the same. Oh, and if you go with the Lage MAX-31A upper, you can run unmodified Suomi 71-round drums.

There were Cobray marked, double stack metal 9mm magazines manufactured and I believe they worked in the M11, but I may be mistaken and they may have been only for the larger M10.

All M11/9mm bolts are single-feed.   The double-stack mags are only for the M10/9.  Too bad, the double-feed M10 mags ( originally Walther MPk mags) are based on the Swedish K mag.  Probably one of the most reliable SMG mags ever made.
