Inspired from another post, I am thinking of getting a Thompson Center Encore rifle, and having the barrel cut done to 16.1 inches. Additionally, I want to install the Choate folding stock, for a compact rifle. My question, this will not fall under the parameters of an SBR, correct?......The ATF or standard is that the rifle is measured with the stock extended,, right?......In other words, with the stock folded on a 16 inch Encore, the rifle will be less than 26 inches, but with the stock extended, more than 26 inches.....Am I good to go???
