| I guess I am missing the reason that folks are selling a Glock sear for $700+ now. I used to see them for $250-300ish range and now everyone are selling them for $700+. Did something big change? I need a sear for a demo- but not paying that much when a Factory G18 is $995....... |

i have only seen Post 86 guns going for like 600 to 800, do they have PRE 86 G18Cs? For a Glock 18 to be transferable to civilians it would have had to have been imported prior to 1968. The 1986 FOPA banned US made machineguns. Imported machineguns (like the Austrian made G18) were banned from civilians by the 1968 GCA. |

The only way a Glock machine pistol could be transferable was if somebody made and registered a semi auto Glock 17 or Glock Sear prior to May of 86.
I don't know when the first Glocks came into the country but Glock Inc (the US subsidiary) was found in 85. The Glock 17 had been around since the early 80's overseas and somebody could have brought over a one off importation prior to Glock officially brining them into the country for mass sale. So is it technically possible that somebody registered a G17 or sear on a F1 or F2 prior to the cutoff date. My personal take is that it is possible. However, I have never seen or heard of one but that doesn't mean that somebody somewhere doesn't have one squirreled away in the back of their safe. In either event, the cost of such a specimen if it exists would be so great that for all intents and purposes it might as well not exist. None that the general public know about seem to be the common understanding, I have yet to see anything that says otherwise. Some 18's were imported prior to 5/19/86, and thus would be Pre-Samples. AFAIK, ALL were sent to US Govt, and thus are not in the pool of transferable to dealer guns. I agree with James above, it is technically possible someone made a Switch, but I have never seen one and would doubt the authenticity of one without a good explanation.

As far as I know all full-auto Glocks are post sample. Never heard of any available at any price. Now I have heard of very few full-auto Beretta 93R's that were transferable and go for over $100K. $120k I think... Holy shit, that's just ridiculous |

Has anyone had any experience with any of these on a SUPPRESSED glock?
My friend knows a manufacturer that was tinkering with one, and couldn't seem to get it to work. I'm pretty sure the suppressor had a booster, and the gun was a G21, IIRC. Any buzz from the hive?? ~WTS |

Any buzz from the hive?? ~WTS I've tried to suppress FA 17s and 34s with B&T cans and Neilson devices (with different weight springs) but they never worked relaibly. Would dump a couple rounds then stop. An auto switch will run Ok with an AA .22 conversion though, suppressed or otherwise. |

Don't use an aftermarket barrel, I cut down a barrel from a G34 to use. I had tried several aftermarket barrels that were threaded and the only on I got to work was the Glock barrel cut down and threaded... |

= JAILBAIT Any C2s, that has one in stock or can make one- please PM me. I am looking for one but not paying 700 for it. Thanks
<–––––– Holds a SOT and has a LE demo letter. Thanks for the numb nut post. No problem! Your profile heading didn't say anything like "FFL/SOT", nor did you mention anything about it in your post. So, because I don't know you, I inferred that you are just another noob on here looking for some easy full auto access after watching youtube.. If you don't want "numb nut posts", then you may want to state your position clearly. |
