Who can cut & crown a Benelli M1 barrel, re-install the front ghost ring sight and refinish it???

With a copy of my Form 1, of course.

Here's what I'm wanting to end up with: Hammer

This is pbrstreetgang's Hammer, I hope he doesn't mind, if so, I'll remove it?

I know C3 Supply use to, but I can't get in touch with them? Are they even still in business?

Any info would be appreciated!!!

You may be able to buy one just as cheap, by the time you pay for the work & shipping charges.

Where would a guy find a 10" Benelli M1 Barrel w/ghost rings???

I've never seen a Benelli Hammer Conversion SBS for sale? If there was one for sale, it would cost at least $700 & up plus one or two $200 transfer fees?

If I could find the right place who does this kind of work, it shouldn't cost more than $50-$100 to cut & crown, $50-$75 to install the front sight and about $50 to refinish? Plus $15 s&h both ways shipping? I may be wrong though?

There will be no stamp required to purchase the barrel, just make sure you don't have the short barrel is the same residents that the shotgun is until you have your approved NFA tax for the shotgun. I would try shotgun news they have had them advertised before. You may be able to have the barrel converted cheaper but it would be worth checking.

Thanks gunner!!!

I've been looking, but I've not found one. I already have a factory SBS Benelli 14" Entry, so having the barrel shouldn't be a problem?

I'm not going to send a Form 1 in until I find a barrel, or find someone who can do the work. If I can't make it like the one I posted a pic of, I don't want to bother.

I've checked with Tornado, they're to busy to accept the order at this time, Aquila doesn't do it. I waiting to hear back from Robar and ADCO.

Any other's anybody can think of, I'll check out?

Thanks Guys!!!

^^^SWEET^^^

Thanks, will do!!!

I'd post a pic of my 14" Benelli, but I'll have to wait until my son comes home for fall break. Picture taking & downloading are not in my pay grade???

UPDATE

Robar can do everything, but cut the barrel below NFA rules.

Maybe ADCO can??? We'll see?

If they can cut it to 18", then they can legally cut it to "any" length you want if you "only" send them the barrel.  If they say otherwise they just don't want to do the work.  The barrel is not an NFA item, your shotgun receiver is.  I waited until my stamp came back and then took "just" the barrel to a local smith and had the work done.

I agree totally!!!

That's exactly what I thought, since all I would send is my barrel w/copy of Form 1. Guess they really don't need the work???
