I was talking about making one and a Gun Store Owner said I may want to consider a SBR from the manufacturer as it wouldn't have my name and address on the thing in case I wanted to sell it down the line at some point.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. All you have to engrave is your name or trust's name and city and state, not your actual address. Plus buying one takes out the fun of building

Once it has been registered and made, no additional markings are ever required. Tony, one question. So, say you happen to sell it down the road. once a rifle length reciever is made inot a SBR, there will be no need to re-engrave even if it is transfered to another individual? |

Nope - it's the name, location and manufacurer of the thing, just like it was Colt in Conn. No difference. |
