| Is there any way for a civilian to get his hands on a Knight's Armament Corp Masterkey? This would make a great home defense tool, or when the coyotes run in a little closer than I want to fire my rifle at. It has a 9in barrel, so I figure it might be an SBR issue. I figure there is no minimum length on an SBR where it would/could be classified a pistol. Anyone have any details on how this might work? That is if I could even get my hands on one. |

Should be able to buy one after jumping through the ATF hoops. Contact some Class III dealers and see if they can help you out with the paperwork and ordering.

3000$?! whoa... Id buy a separate shotgun, maybe something italian, or a nice custom 1911... If I was looking for something to hang under an AR for that kind of money I'd buy a 203 plus a buttload of reloading supplies. The 22 beehive round would be cool. |

Does the shotgun fasten to the mount using the scope mounting holes in the reciever? I wouldn't think that would hold up that well. More than likely you'll have to drill and tap the reciever and probably use some grade 8 machine screws of a fairly large diameter (thinking 1/4th") with fine threads. But it would be "doable". |

For just one of the KAC Masterkeys, you could get two of these:

Who buys from Autoweapons, there's one on the ee for $2000.
