Is it legal to use stocks and forend grips on a MAC 10 SMG?

Can I convert it to any caliber and use any barrel length and stock?

Any .22 caliber conversions out there?

Thanks!

If it is a transferable FA then, yes, you can use a stock and/or forward grip on it.

If you are going to do a permanent caliber change, you should notify the ATF.  It does not matter what stock or bbl length you go with.

There are .22 conversions out there.....very few that are reliable.

Why not?

Do you have any experience with their conversion kits?

I have one. it is a total piece of shit.

Bill guaranteed it would work, or he'd fix it. I got it, it didn't work, he refused to respond to emails or phone calls. BBB will no longer take complaints as he ignores them.

Check Uzitalk. lots of complaints. Apaprently he redesigned the newer ones, and they work better. but are still hit and miss.

He's not getting a penny from me. I'll wait for Richard LAge's 22 conversion.

Side note: Bill Flemming is a convicted felon.

Do you want to sell it?

thought about it. It's had some mods though. Extractor spring has been replaced. didn't help. extractor groove opened a little, didn't help much. Ejection port opened up....helped some. barrel pin replaced....original was cracked in 2 places. I've tried a suppressor... doesnt' help much.

Abotu the best i can get is 1 jam per mag. occasionaly i'll get a mag to run uninterrupted, but it's very rare.

There is a guy on uzitalk that reportedly can get them to run, but dont' know if it's worth the $$$.

The bolt is mostly sheet metal...does'nt have much weight.

When someone contacted him saying multiple people were having problems, bills response was:

"UZI Talk, never heard of it. Is that some place for "armchair" "wanta' be" gunsmiths to hang out in cyber space and blow smoke at each other about just how much more they know than the other "experts" that hang out there? Try watching "CSI", it has to be more entertaing and even as far out as it is, I'm sure it's closer to being real than some cyber chat board."

Now that's customer service. Oh...wait...
