Saw a thread on it at subguns and it got zapped. Did not really read much but there was something about a letter sent to the Tech Branch but the weapon described was not the same one it is designed to be used in? Anyone know about this? Is it bullshit by a jealous naysayer? Just curious. |

It's bullshit by a jealous naysayer. The BATF approved a prototype that was built on an SKS, rather than on a 10/22. The approval, and subsequent correspondence, makes clear that BATF was ruling on the patented system itself, rather than on any specific application. BTW, I am told that a pre-production SKS-based Akins Accelerator was demoed at the Hernando shoot....
