Does anyone know where to buy correct mk2's or m67 that are inert obviously, but that are still "correct" and basically have just had the explosives removed? I'd really like to add a few to my collection of the prices arent insane, but I have no interest in buying reproduction look alike junk.

I think my local surplus store has an inerted but real US grenade from WWII.  It might look like the MK2 but I didn't look closely.  I can check for you if you want.  Not sure what your definition of insane prices are but I could check on it if you were seriously interested.  PM me for more info

No idea where to buy such inert things, or even if you still can.  But I've found lots of great photographs of inert stuff at this site in England:

That is a great website.  To clarity my previous post for the OP in case there was confusion, the examples I remembered from my local surplus store are not the reproduction fakes(they sell those too though) but real inert ones.  They have a glass case of a bunch of stuff thats old and real and I specifically remember the guy showing me that at least a few of them are real but just demilled/inerted.

And if you want a real M67...... And yes, that's about the going price, and even higher, for an M67 in very nice condition.

Thanks guys. I didnt even think to check gun broker.  Those are a bit more than I had hoped, but still within the acceptable range. I'll keep an eye out on GB and see if I can snag one a little  bit cheaper.
