Got this with a regular 203 hand guard... But the sight is a rail mount. Most searches bring up the type that mount on any rail with the side knob, or other more expensive setups. This one mounts on a rail that has threaded holes, seems to work fine on my Troy rail but nothing else I have has those threaded holes in the top. I thought it would be smart to see if anyone could ID it in case it's something I should sell before I give up and drill out the welds to mount it to the hg(seems a crazy thing to do when it looks so nice as it is).  |

After finding some web sites I had forgotten about, and some more or less fruitless results - I can't find anything terribly specific about this item. The codes seem to be pretty typical, P/N for a leaf sight base, and a CAGE code for a small machine shop in PA that makes small parts for the military. I bought a standard base from Numrich and moved the sight parts over so I could use it, and I guess this odd rail mount is going into the misc. parts bin for now... |
