| I am concidering getting one of the spikes tactical 37mm flare launchers and form 1ing it into a dd... as im pricing this out im finding very little information on i guess what would be called "anti-personell" ammo for them, nothing as crazy as an HE but perhalps something like the beehive round or an adapter to use std 12g ammo... is there a store or website that sells 37mm DD ammo?? |

I could be wrong on this one, but from everything I have found, I believe this is the catch 22 of the really cool destructive devices... You can buy the launcher (the 40mm one, screw the 37 flare launcher), but the munition is the tricky part. Most of the companies that manufacture it, sell it to the .gov, but in order to get that contract, and (here is what I heard) they have to have an agreement to not sell it to anyone else. Not to mention there is probably not a large market for rounds that each require a separate stamp. Its all just a guess, but I believe this is the same thing as our aerospace companies who build jets and helicopters for the .mil Military Industrial Complex |
You can pick up plenty of 37mm rounds off auction sites, or distributors for ALS stuff. There are plenty of LE shops that sell the rubber ball stuff. You can also get adapters to fire .410, or any other shotgun gauge through a registered 37 tube. There are also plenty of places to purchase 40mm whatnot, if you know the proper people.  ...and have cash. GROG
