Is a 25mm Bushmaster training round a DD?  I guess if it has no or less than 1/4 ounce of explosive, then it is not a DD.  Does the above live round have any explosive?  I'm talking about the blue colored sabot round...looks like it is made of plastic.  Thanks.

the 20mm does not, and I'd asume the 25 doesn't either.

No, it's just a training round (no explosive) that matches the M792 HEI-T round ballistically.

Be carefull if you fire one from your Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle.  There are petals that separate from the projectile as they go down range.  Personally, I would not want to be caught with one.  I can think of only one place you might find these and that is while on active duty.  You might want to check the provenance of that ordinance to insure it is not something that was missapropriated.

there is no explosive in the sabot round its not a training round at all. its a small tungstin dart incased in a plastic shell, the shell peels off in flight.  the dart goes faster than he rounds and destroys vehicles via kinetic.
