the pic of the HK 416 and the 10.5 both i just realized only engaged two of the three slot tabs on the 203, will that cause undue wear to the 203 reciever?

im running a 10.5, and i just realized that. i'm considering doing away witht he FSB and getting a 9" rail rather than 7" if it could damage the 203 since it is aluminum.

Daniel Defense said they're Lite and M4 rails can take the pressure.

I run a Daniel Defense 9.5fsp with mine so that I can retain the front sight and engage all 3 slots.   Probably wouldn't hurt to run it with 2, though.
I also learned that some flip up sights aren't the right spacing relative to the slots for proper regulation of the leaf sight.

i got one (DD 9.5) and posted in another thread, it won't work with AAC QD cans, i'm going to cut the rail and make it fit however it won't work without modification.

Soon as the form goes through i'll barrel it

Oh i chucked a sand disc in the lathe and ran the rail into it across the ebd to make room for the can, it just saved the inside to 1.5 ID and didn't take any meat away its still strong as new, covered it with a black "metal pait" marker and i'm hinking about a dura-coat ACU finish in the future. not sure though
