I have been looking at m79's since they are unless I'm wrong actually legal in WA. in any case I was wondeinrg if any one has a good source for sheap parts or parts sets. I found a guy who has new made recievers and 37mm barrels and I could build a class 1 for around $3800 using parts I found on the net and later upgrade it to 40mm. is this a good plan? dose this cost too much? I'm looking primaraly for a reenacting piece.

Im building an M79 right now.  Hopefully when Im done with it I'll have me a DD piece right around the $4k mark.

I think if you're patient, you could spend a little more and build you a DD for not much than you priced your title 1 item at.

except I'm in washington right now (bad but i can still have DD's) and I'm in the military (worse) so that means I could move to a state where I couldn't take it. then I'd have to sell it.
