| What kind of sights do you guys use for your M203's? I plan on getting an LMT 9" rail mounted M203 for my M-16. But i'm not sure what sights i should get for it. What would you guys suggest? |

There a couple ways you can go, It all depends on what other accessories you have need of on your rails. 1. Top mounted leaf sight 2. Left or right mounted red dot quadrant sight. I have not used the new red dot quadrants, but they look like they are a major improvment over the earlier barrel mounted sight that was part of the SOPMOD kit. KAC M203 Accessories Be careful, you could end up with a crew served carbine with a PEQ on top, Quadrant at 3 and a light at the 9 |
I can tell you a place you will find folks that can tell you... Grog's site Look for Govt1911, he is currently in Iraq using his. |

I don't have a 203, but I do shoot rifle-grenades (using blanks) off my AR. I bought a quadrant sight for $35 or so from SARCO, which is half of what I've seen them sell for at other places. My AR gets about 75m with rifle grenades (with a tennis-ball head) using parade blanks. Would probably get considerably more range with proper grenade-launching blanks, or if I had a gas shutoff. I can't imagine how fun NATO rifle grenades would be with .308 GL blanks and a FAL with the gas turned off... |
