| IF you have a railed handguard, do you have to remove the bottom half to mount the launcher? some here dont look like it, but it seems with the standard handguards, you have to remove the bottom one. Is there a special kit for mounting if you have a railed handguard and want to use the mount that clamps to the m4 cut in the barrel? |

LMT makes a M203 that is made only for mounting on rails. The M203s that need the M4 cut outs cannot be mounted to a rail due to the fact that the rear barrel mount on the M203 is part of the receiver. ETA Some of the handguards out there have a removable bottom rail that allows the use of a M203 and rail system. |
