I’ve been using Griffin muzzle devices and discovered that its just a hair too short for using with a hammer comp. I haven’t done the math, but I’m not certain it would accommodate a muzzle device long enough to do a pin and weld. Maybe I’m wrong about that but a little more room would offer greater flexibility. I got an extended taper mount adapter from Ecco machine that gives me the extra room I needed. |

I love the swappable end cap system. The Helios is a meh suppressor, but being able to swap the end caps for different hosts makes it one of my go-tos I’m really looking forward to picking one of these up (and possibly the full size infinity down the road as well) |

It’s pretty bad. BUT the concept behind it is great. It’s one of those great ideas but poor execution things. The infinity 7.62 and 5.56 both take that idea and make it actually good |
| Just picked it up today, submitted last Thursday, approved this afternoon. Need to get a mount for it and remove a P&W for the rifle it will go on, a 14.5 SD. |

There’s no weighing standards. Some manu’s weigh with no rear mount or front EndCap, some weigh with both, some only with front endcap. Even within the same Manu there’s been lack of consistency. And sometimes they’re just flat-out wrong, in any configuration. I’ve got 6 cans inbound atm, it’ll be fun weighing each. Even funner is when Manus make internal changes to the same can and the weight changes. I’ve got an early Omega300 and then did a BOGO years later and got 2 more and the 2 newer ones are significantly lighter weight than my older one, none of which match the listed weight on SiCo’s website. That reminds me - with the $200 stamp thing gone, selling / transferring suppressors can make a little more sense now. I’ve got 2 brand spanky new SiCo Omega300s I might sell. Hmmmm. |

I don’t directly but my griffin taper mount hammer comp bottoms out on the blast baffle just barely preventing seating. I think griffin has info on the length of all their muzzle devices available that you could cross compare based on that. ETA per Griffin’s web page the Hammer Comp is 1.94” OAL. |

@KTM300XCW I had a spare ASR mount and brake i tried it on and it fit, same with FH. I think it it is almost touching the blast baffles but not quite. The base of the mount to the tip of the longest FH tine is a hair short of 1.5" and blast chamber is just shy of 1.75 ", so about a quarter inch of clearance. Whether that is okay or not would be a question for Andrew. Attached File Attached File |

I really appreciate it. Perhaps Andrew will see this and chime in. I guess worst case I will just modify a 3 port brake to a 1 port brake to shorten it up some. I've already done that for one of my other cans. It's easy to do with an angle grinder. |

The blast chamber is plenty roomy and should accommodate 99% of mounts and muzzle devices no problem |

| Powerful, OCL! Love to see it. Very interesting results between the end caps on the Mk18. |

Hopefully only a minor derail: Would “3 prong FH are hard on blast baffles” still be true on an Infinity 762 if mounted to a 3-prong AAC 51t setup? Or was the same, but on a 5.56 out of the bigger can? Intending to pick my can up from jail this weekend, and I don’t want to start my own thread to address this one question. |

If so, your blast baffle might show significant wear in only thousands of rounds instead of tens of thousands. But let’s be real here, the Infinity 556K is a super durable can and is going to last far longer than most people will ever take it. |

PEW results came out today. Really pleased to see that it scored best with the medium pressure 3 hole endcap. In 2026 with design and manufacturing I think a can designed around an AR should be optimized for low back pressure. I'm not interested in a quiet full back pressure can these days. The Otter boys did their homework on this one. |

I’m going to guess that for an OCL Infinity 762 (non-K), for non-NFA barrels on a .308 Bolt or a 5.56 bolt or semi (no FRT), that I’ll be fine for a long time. And agreed that OCL does their research! |

I know they will ping off the gun when not firing if you tap them in a specific location but it does not translate to pinging when shooting. If you want to send it in for us to look at it and investigate we gladly will! I’m kind of curious myself. You can email [email protected] and they’ll get you a form to fill out. |

I'm going to do a little more testing first before I resort to sending it to you guys. It doesn't seem like there is anything wrong with the can itself. I'm going to double check and make sure everything is retorqued and it's fully seated on the rearden brake. If I had to guess I'd say it's either an incomplete seating on the rearden taper (not tight enough maybe), or something with the endcap resonance/loose endcap. Any thoughts on tightness/torque values of the various attachments? Maybe some testing would produce a ping/vibration. |

Picked up a 556K the other day on a 4473, and put on ny 18" Hellion so far. Very happy with it, on my first time out with it. Attached File |

Looking forward to trying it out, need to see if I want the higher flow end cap. Do appreciate you and other industry people posting with the knowledge and insights, thanks!
