I can only tell you it varies. I do a fair bit of night hunting, mostly for predators but occasionally for hogs, usually with buds, almost all of whom use suppressors. My experience informs me that some suppressors are better, some ammo is better. And at what angle you want flash limited is a consideration.
Fwiw, the brake on the Omegas limits flash from any angle toward the front. I would bet that any other brake type cap would do the same. Unfortunately, I never took notes on which suppressors are better and which are worse, or the ammo used, but the differences were notable. I do think I notes that longer suppressors were consistently better at flash suppression. JPK |
