Looking for a suppressor to switch between my 6.5CR bolt gun, .300BLK and 5.56.

Dumb question. How will I know what mount(s) I need? Depends on the hosts - I picked AAC 51T and the 762SDN-6 because it had the widest range of mounts that I could find....including some real oddballs. 5/8x24 will cover most .30 caliber-ish guns 1/2x28 will cover most .22 caliber-ish guns Everyone's can should/will offer mounts in these. Gets a little stranger from there - you might need: M13x1LH for an AUG 9/16-24LH for an FN etc... and then you could be in for a hassle. |

How would the SilencerCo Hybrid work for my needs?
Looks like Capitol Armory is running a special where if you buy the Hybrid, you get a Warlock or Cyclone free...plus you'd get a total of $400 in rebates if you went with the Warlock. Seems like a pretty solid deal. What am I missing? Any reason to go Omega vs Hybrid? |

I got a Recce 7 with that same purpose in mind. Works well on both a .300BLK and 5.56 SBR using Griffin's taper mount. It's the same baffle stack but is Ti with a 17-4 SS blast baffle. Uses the same mounts and you can swap to the 22cal end cap and it's user serviceable. Or the Optiumus and also do 9mm and 22lr. I have both but still waiting for the approval on the Alpha. I also have the AAC 762-SND-6 and it's a good can but the Optimus is just a quiet and a lot lighter. A lot. One thing that gets overlooked is the weight at the end of the barrel. With most 65CM barrels being 22-24" long you may want to consider your lightest option that will handle your most aggressive firing schedule. On my Ruger Precision Rifle my 762sdn6 was like a brick on the ends of the barrel. When I swapped over to the Optimus it was night and day different. ETA spelling, grammar and stiz |
