Well I was going to wait until late next year to purchase another one, but got the ok from the wife unit to get a Saker 762 from 54-17 with the deal they have going right now.  Just started the whole NFA thing in September with buying a Tirant 45  I guess silencers are going to end up as another expensive hobby

Update edit:  Form 3 was submitted 12-22-16 and silencer received by the SOT today (01-25-2017).  Form 4 will be mailed tomorrow  Now, only 8-12 months more wait

Though it is the same every time, I like seeing Ted's (?) signature!

Have to put a plug in for 54-17!  I purchased the Saker last night, emailed the SOT to send their info. last night, 54-17 received it this am, and they already submitted the Form 3 for transfer??  I don't know if that is quick or not, but I'm happy with!

Yes, many have played the "I got disapproved and submitted a new form and emailed Ted Clutter with my old and new control numbers" game.

Saker is a good can, extremely tough and backed by silencerco.  Another great thing about the saker is the mount that Dead Air just released the Key Mo it looks great for a quick detach method for the Saker.

Didn't know if you was aware of this but you took the time to block out the serial numbers on the forms but the serial number is also written on the stamp by the examiner along with the date and their initials  Not that it would really matter that the serial is exposed because an NFA item should be one of the most provable items you could own.

This is the same examiner that approved the Form 3.  Update in my first post on time taken.

Looks like we'll be racing to the range, we'll see who gets put in the faster pile.

Form 3 submitted on 12/23, approved 01/24.

New Saker ASR or old one?  They dropped the price a bunch.

Old model.  Looking at going with the KeyMo to fix the issue of locking up on the barrel.  If I don't, as I understand it, I will have to remove it right after I finish shooting.
